 David V. Dellinger – Executive Vice President

Contact our Executive Vice President for information on policy issues or actions taken by the Board of Trustees and general association management advice (i.e. bylaw revisions, tax reporting, officer/staff job descriptions, legal questions regarding DOI, governance, and so forth). In addition, contact for information regarding NAIFA-California budgets, bylaws, Nominating Committee, for-profit programs and products and assistance with issues involving NAIFA.

 Carol Nicolaysen – Director of Finance and Communications

Contact our Director of Finance and Communications when questions arise pertaining to NAIFA-California’s budget process, financial statements, to determine the status of any reimbursement which may be due you, for information on records pertaining to NAIFA-California IFAPAC and the monthly NAIFA-California IFAPAC contributor’s report and the Prospector Fund. Coordination of monthly CAL Advisor layout and articlesand also facilitates updating the website including posting of local association programs. Meeting coordinator for our meetings and annual convention.

Contact our Membership Services Coordinator for questions with NAIFA-California’s membership reporting. Staff liaison to Membership, Nominations, Long Range Planning, Local Recognition Task Force, Leadership Development, Government Relations, Distinguished Service Award Selection and Convention Planning Committees. Coordinator of committee support; and for guidance as to where a question should be referred.

Contact our Legislative Advocate or Grassroots Coordinator for information on the status of legislation NAIFA-California is currently monitoring; for assistance with NAIFA-California IFAPAC promotion and contributions to state office seekers; assistance with NAIFA-California IFAPAC; for advice on what topics to discuss during local meeting with legislators; for explanation of laws which have already been passed by the Legislature; to provide him with member input on life/health insurance legislation pending in Sacramento; and any other aspects of our legislative, PAC and/or political involvement activities.
