The Distinguished Service Award recognizes individuals who have given meritorious service to the institution of life, health and multiline insurance, the agency system and the community in ways that enhance the image of the agent. Criteria for Selection

In selecting recipients of this award, the following criteria are considered
Evidence of meritorious service to the Insurance and Financial Advisors Association and/or the life, health and multiline insurance industry and/or the community;
Current membership in a local Insurance and Financial Advisors Association in California;
Should the candidate be a NAIFA-California Past President, three years must have elapsed since the individual held the office of State Association President;
Service on the NAIFA-California Board as an officer is not required;
Current NAIFA-California Board Members are not eligible.
